JAMMU & KASHMIR 10-yr-old boy drowns into Jhelum in Uri | KNO Published 188 weeks ago on August 05, 2020 By Peerzada Waseem Baramulla, Aug 05 (KNO): A 20-year-old boy drowned into river Jhelum in Uri area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Wednesday afternoon. Officials told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that a boy was taking a bath and drowned in river Jhelum in Uri. “Soon after his friends informed the passersby, a few local youth jumped into the river to rescue the boy, but couldn’t spot him,” they said.
