Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone were in Dubai on Tuesday night to attend an awards function. Ranveer won the International man of the year whereas Deepika won International woman of the year. The rumoured couple made separate entries, but sat together at the sponsor's table. Ranveer was truly the man of the night, said one of our industry sources, who was present at the event. The sexist ad controversy seemed to be the last thing on Ranveer's mind as he partied the night away. The actor was in his usual high spirits - clicking pictures with everyone, dancing when others won an award. He congratulated all the winners personally. Apparently, the winners were not required to make a speech but Ranveer made a special impromptu request and got up on stage to say, "My best is yet to come. I feel honoured to win this award. Dubai, I love you. I am not prepared for the speech, but I love it."
