Jammu, Sep 19 (KNO): An encounter broke out in Kishtwar District on Friday evening after security forces established contact with terrorists during an intelligence-based operation, the officials told news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) They said the gunfight commenced around 8 pm when troops engaged terrorists in the general area of Kishtwar. The Army's White Knight Corps in a post on X also confirmed that the contact with terrorists has been established. "In an intelligence-based operation in the general area of Kishtwar, alert troops of WhiteKnight Corps established contact with terrorists at around 8 pm on 19 Sep 25. Exchange of fire took place.” The Army said that the operation is in progress—(KNO)
