Sopore, Sep 12 (KNO): North Kashmir's Sopore town hosted its first-of-its-kind community festival, bringing together entrepreneurs, businesses and residents on a common platform to showcase products, talent and emerging ventures.
Details available with the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) said the two-day festival, initiated by Wajid Wani, featured more than 20 stalls set up by major outlets, entrepreneurs and businesses.
The event attracted a large number of visitors, creating a vibrant atmosphere and drawing attention to local talent and enterprises.
Wani said the initiative was aimed at community building by providing businesses and entrepreneurs a platform to come together and connect with people.
He said the festival also served as an awareness initiative, with stalls providing information about products, services and schemes offered by businesses and trades operating in and outside Sopore.
“It is a community-building festival and an exhibition-cum-trade show to bring people together. The idea is also to create awareness about the businesses, products and services available to people,” Wani said.
Members of the business fraternity and participating entrepreneurs welcomed the initiative, describing it as a first-of-its-kind event in Sopore.
Entrepreneurs said the festival provided them with an opportunity to showcase their talent, products and work directly to the public.
“It is good that such an initiative has been organised. We are here to showcase our talents and our work,” Sania Nisaar, one of the participating entrepreneurs said—(KNO)
