Srinagar, May 18 (KNO): After recording the hottest day of the season, Srinagar and parts of Jammu and Kashmir Sunday evening witnessed strong gusty winds, damaging rooftops of several houses and shops across the Valley, officials said. An official told news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), that gusty winds coupled with heavy rain damaged rooftops of many shops in main market Chandilora, Tangmarg. He said that many houses also suffered damage in main town Baramulla, Srinagar, and other parts of the Valley. The weather department had predicted possibility of gusty winds, rain, and thundershowers at several places in J&K for the next 2 days This is a developing story, damage or loss to properties will be update after official confirmation—(KNO)
