Indo-Pak armies exchange fire along LoC in Poonch | KNO

Jammu, Apr 06 (KNO): The armies of India and Pakistan on Monday exchanged gunfire along Line of Control (LoC) in Poonch district in Jammu region, officials said. According to wire service—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), officials said that Pakisatn Army has resorted to unprovoked firing and shelling in Krishna Ghati sector in Mankote area. Officials said that Indian Army has retaliated befittingly. Meanwhile, Army's Jammu based spokesman, Lt Col Devender Anand said that “Pak initiated unprovoked ceasefire violation by firing with small arms and shelling with mortars along LoC in Mankote sector of District Poonch.” Indian Army is retaliating befittingly, he added—(KNO)
