KCC&I delegation call on ADGP Munir Khan | KNO

Srinagar, January 02 (KNO) : A delegation of Kashmir Chamber of Commerce & Industry (Inc) led by Sheikh Ashiq Ahmad, President on Wednesday met Muneer Ahmad Khan, Additional Director General of Police, Law & Order, regarding the attacks on Kashmiri shopkeepers in Rohru Tehsil, Shimla. According to a statement issued to KNO, Sheikh Ashiq Ahmad expressed the concern felt by the business community of the state over repeated attacks, harassment, and intimidation of Kashmiri traders. Muneer Ahmad Khan Additional Director General of Police assured full support of J&K Police as may be required in this case. The Kashmir Chamber of Commerce & Industry is also scheduled to meet the Vijay Kumar, Advisor to Governor tomorrow regarding this issue. Meanwhile President, KCC&I is in constant touch with the victims of the recent violence in Shimla.(KNO)
