Man found dead in Kokarnag village | KNO

Kokarnag, Apr 05 (KNO): A mentally unsound person was found dead in Brengi Nallah in Kokarnag area of South kashmir’s Anantnag district on Sunday morning. According to wire service—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), an official said that some locals spotted the male body lying in river at Adigam area and immediately informed police about it. Soon after being informed, a police team reached the spot and recovered the body, they said. They identified the deceased as Rafiq Ahmad Chouhan (42), son of Abdul Gani Chouhan from Cheirward, Kokarnag. Meanwhile, a police official while confirming the incident told—KNO that a case under 174 CrPc has been registered and further investigations has been taken up—(KNO)
