Sopore Blast : Scores attend slain cop’s funeral; Wreaths laid | KNO

Hundreds of people participated in the funeral prayers of slain police constable Ghulam Nabi at his native village Rohama, Rafiabad. Ghulam Nabi was among the four constables killed in a powerful mine blast at Sopore Saturday morning. Constable Ghulam Nabi, father of a 2-year-old baby girl with disabilities, is survived by wife, 2 sisters, 2 brothers and old aged parents. Slain constable’s elder brother Showkat Ahmad Ahangar, a teacher by profession said, “We can’t bear thos daily based bloodshed of our loved one’s. We appeal the international community to come on table and solve the Kashmir issue as soon as possible”. The wreath laying ceremony of the slain police personnel was held in District Police Lines Sopore. ADGP Muneer Khan (IG Kashmir Zone) led Police and Security force officers in paying homage and last respects to the slain Police personnel at DPL Sopore today. ASI Irshad Ahmad,Constable Ghulam Nabi, Constable Parvaiz Ahmad and Constable Mohammad Amin were killed today in powerful IED Blast at Sopore.
