Test reports of four COVID-19 suspects awaited in Kupwara | KNO

Kupwara, Apr 02 (KNO): Test reports of four COVID-19 suspects whose samples have been collected are awaited in north Kashmir's Kupwara district. According to wire service-Kashmir News Observer (KNO), the fourCOVID-19 suspects had travel history from the affected areas and they had also come in contact with positive COVID-19 patients. An official said that they have collected samples of the all the four suspects as they had shown some symptoms and their test reports are awaited. Chief Medical Officer Kupwara Dr. Kausar Amin told KNO that they have sent samples of the four suspects for testing purpose as they had shown some symptoms related to COVID-19. According to the daily bulletin on novel coronavirus, 06 persons have been kept under hospital quarantine while as 64 persons have completed surveillance period. “119 persons are under home surveillance besides samples of nine persons were also been collected out of which 5 have tested negative while test results of four are still awaited.” It is pertinent to mention that none of the suspects has tested positive for novel coronavirus in district so far—(KNO)
