Srinagar, Oct 22 (KNO): All India Congress Committee (AICC) General Secretary and MLA Dooru, Ghulam Ahmad Mir on Wednesday said that their trust has been hurt after the National Conference (NC) offered them only the fourth seat in the seat-sharing arrangement for Rajya Sabha elections, slated to held on October 24. Mir, as per the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) said that the party had sought the first or second seat, which NC had agreed upon earlier. However, he said after a week's time, the decision was changed from NC's side and the Congress was offered a fourth seat. “Therefore, after the breach of trust, the party decided not to field its candidate on the fourth seat and allowed NC to field their own candidate for it as well," he said. He also added that the discussion will be held for the Rajya Sabha elections in the meetings, being held at the party headquarters in Srinagar—(KNO)
