According to the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), residing in Sadiwara Doru, Anantnag, Kashmir, Adv Ganai has earned the nickname 'Kachra Man of Kashmir' for his relentless work in promoting sustainable practices and environmental conservation.
His notable initiatives, including the acclaimed 'Give Plastic Take Gold' campaign, have significantly raised awareness about source segregation, waste management, and behavioural change, all aimed at making Kashmir cleaner and greener.
His achievements in organic farming, particularly the cultivation of red rice and red mong, have further showcased his commitment to sustainable agriculture.
The Hindustan Book of Records award serves as a recognition of Adv Ganai's unwavering dedication to environmental preservation and his efforts to inspire sustainable living.
Although unable to attend the ceremony physically, Adv Ganai accepted the award virtually, reaffirming his commitment to creating a positive ecological impact—(KNO)
