IGP Kashmir promotes 650 HCs to ASIs | KNO

Srinagar, Oct 15 (KNO): The Departmental Promotion Committee, constituted under the chairmanship of Inspector General of Police (IGP) Kashmir V. K. Birdi, for assessing the suitability of eligible Head Constables for elevation to the next rank, has approved the promotion of 650 Head Constables to the rank of Assistant Sub-Inspector. A police spokesman in a statement issued to the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), IGP Kashmir has felicitated the promoted officials/their families and expressed the hope that they will strive to work hard for maintaining of public peace, tranquillity and law & order in the Union Territory of J&K—(KNO)
