Kulgam, Oct 23 (KNO): Peoples Democratic Party vice president Sartaj Madni on Thursday said that the party will decide its strategy for the upcoming Rajya Sabha elections in Jammu and Kashmir only after seeing what the National Conference decides on bills in the Assembly.
Speaking with reporters, Madni, per news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) said they would wait to see what the NC will do with the bills and only then they would make any move.
On J&K Waqf Board resolution being dropped, he said the PDP has no major expectations from the present government. “We don’t expect much from this government because it is their government, their Assembly, and their Speaker,” he said.
Speaking on the bypolls in Budgam, the PDP leader said that a year has passed since the formation of the current government, and now it is up to the people to make their decision.
“As far as the government is concerned, one year has passed. The people should decide what is good for them,” Madni added—(KNO)
