COVID-19: 57-year-old from Poonch dies, toll 89 | KNO

Jammu, June 25 (KNO): Jammu and Kashmir Thursday claimed another life in the form of a 57-year-old-man from Poonch district, who breathed his last at Government Medical College Hospital Jammu.  Officials told news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), the deceased was undergoing treatment at Jammu GMC since past five days. "The man was shifted to GMC Jammu from an administrative quarantine in Samba," officials said. He was also having some other body ailments, they said. Medical Superintendent of GMC Jammu, Dr. Dara Singh said that 57-year-old man from Poonch was having diabetes as well as kidney problems. "He was sent to GMC Jammu from Samba and was treated but last night,” the medical superintendent GMC said. With the fresh death, the death toll due to Covid pandemic has reached to 89—(KNO)
