Srinagar (KNO) : Dukhtaran-e-Millat on Tuesday paid glowing tributes to Mujahideen of Hizbul Mujahideen including Shaheed Sameer Ahmad Bhat (Sameer Tiger), Shaheed Aqib Khan and a civilian, Shaheed Shahid Ahmad Dar who achieved martyrdom in Drabgam, Pulwama on Monday.

“Martyrdom is the highest reward that a Mujahid can achieve. In his brief involvement in the armed struggle, Shaheed Sameer had given a tough time to the occupying forces that is why the slogans of Tiger, Tiger, Sameer Tiger reverberated in every nook and corner of the Valley,”

DeM spokesman, Rifat Fatima, said in a statement. “It is a clear indication that Sameer was the Allah SWT’s tiger whose name sent shivers down the spine of the occupational forces,” she said. She said that presence of lakhs of people in the funerals of Mujahideen and the coming together of thousands of men, women and children to save the Mujahideen during gunfights is a clear indication that everyone in Kashmir is a Mujahid without arms.

“On Monday one of our youth (Shahid) achieved martyrdom while dozens were injured by bullets and pellets. The way civilians are trying to save their Mujahideen proves that people here love the Mujahideen and this pious struggle immensely,” she added. Rifat said that the statement of DGP of occupational forces that these children come to gunfight sites to die, clearly indicates that Kashmir youth prefer to die than living under Indian occupation.

Meanwhile, Fatima said that the drama of inducting new faces in the so-called JK cabinet was enacted to reward those people who openly participated in the pro-rapist rallies in Kathua. “The puppet Dy CM, by terming the heinous rape and murder case as an ‘ordinary incident’, has given idea of his filthy motives.” Rifat said that people should remain aware about these political conspiracies and shouldn’t fall prey to it. “ People must understand that the puppet CM, Mehbooba Mufti, has mortgaged the life and dignity of people of JK so that she continues to remain in power,” she added.
