Hajj 2017 : Andrabi receives feedback from officials, Khuddam | KNO

Minister of State for Hajj & Auqaf, PHE, Irrigation, Flood Control, Power, Industries and Commerce, Syed Farooq Ahmad Andrabi on Wednesday held a meeting with the Officers of State Hajj Committee and Khuddam-e-Hujaj 2017 to receive feedback from them regarding the arrangements put in place for Hajj 2017.

The meeting was attended by the Executive Members of State Hajj Committee, Mushtaq Ahmad Shah, Shah Mohammad Tantray and Dr Nissar Ahmad, Executive Officer, State Hajj Committee, Syed Qamar Sajad, Hajj Officer, Mohammad Maqbool and other prominent citizens including Molvi Mufti Farooq Ahmad, Syed Ishtiaq Ahmad, Fayaz Ahmad Fayaz and Khudam-e-Hujaj 2017.

 

The Minister expressed satisfaction over the arrangements put in place by the Government for the convenience of the Hujaj this year.

While interacting with the Khudam-e-Hujaj, the Minister applauded the role played by them during the Hajj for ensuring every possible help to pilgrims during their stay in Makkah Sharief and Madina Sharief.

Earlier, Executive Officer, State Hajj Committee briefed the meeting about the arrangements through Power Point Presentation.

Executive Members of State Hajj Committee, Mushtaq Ahmad Shah, Shah Mohammad Tantray, Dr Nissar Ahmad and Molvi Mufti Farooq Ahmad also addressed the gathering and expressed satisfaction over the arrangements made by the Government for Hajj 2017. They gave their valuable suggestions for further improvement in arrangements for the next Hajj-2018.

Dr Nissar Ahmad suggested that those who are selected for Hajj they should get their medical fitness certificate from Medical Board already existing in every districts of the State of J&K.

On the occasion, the Minister distributed mementos as a token of acknowledgement among Khudam-e-Hujaj for services rendered by them during Hajj 2017. These included Peer Shabir Ahmad, Parvez Iqbal, Shabir Ahamd Baba, Danish Abdullah and Nissar Ahmad Para.
