Imran Ansari compliments JK Cricket Team for winning against Jharkhand | KNO

SRINAGAR, NOVEMBER 12(KNO) : Minister for Youth Services Sports and Technical Education Molvi Imran Raza Ansari complimented Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Team for their laudable performance in Ranji against host Jharkhand in which skipper Parveez Rasool and Amir Aziz took 5 wickets each. Ansari complimented the team and players for the win. "It is heartening to see J&K team as winners who were part of the Ranji with such a great enthusiasm," Ansari said. He said that the government is also taking the sport to the areas which haven’t been tapped yet and create an environment of competitive cricket. Earlier Jammu and Kashmir decleared on 265/9. The target for Jharkhand was 350 runs. JK's spin pair Parveez Rasool and Amir Aziz destroyed the batting lineup of Jharkhand and were all-out on 243 runs. With this win, JK got 6 points and jumps to the 4th spot on the team standing table. Amir Aziz took 9 wickets and Parveez Rasool took 7 Wickets and Scored valuable 73 runs in the Match. Parveez Rasool was declared Player of the match.
