NSUI unit of JNU Delhi organised an interactive session on kashmir unrest which was attended by Senior Congress Leader Digvijya Singh, Salman Nizami, Amrita Dhawan, Sunny Dhiman & others. Expressing views on ongoing unrest in Kashmir Valley, the speakers observed that PDP-BJP government is responsible for the unrest in Kashmir Valley and said the statements of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Mehboba Mufti have “exacerbated” the crisis. Digvijaya Singh said he was deeply concerned over the situation in Jammu and Kashmir, which is “sliding into total chaos”. “The PDP-BJP government is squarely responsible for the sharp deterioration in the last 100 days". Prime Minister Narendra Modi seems more concerned about the people of Balochistan and PoK," Digvijaya Singh said, speaking to students at JNU. "He is thanking the people of Balochistan, PoK and congratulating them. But he is not ready to speak Kashmiris in India. If we have to instil trust and faith in the minds of people of Kashmir, the only route is by dialogue," he said.
