Mehbooba chairs high-level meeting in Jammu following fidayeen attack | KNO

Following an attack on an army camp at Sujwan area of Jammu, Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti this evening chaired a high-level security meeting with senior officers of the Jammu and Kashmir state. According to sources in the government's home department, Mehbooba Mufti Saturday evening called a high-level meeting which attended among others by Chief Secretary BB Vyas, DGP SP Vaid, IG CID Abdul Gani Mir, Principal Secretary Home Department, and Principal Secretary to CM Rohit Kansal. The meeting discussed threadbare the overall security situation in the state. The high-level meeting was called in the backdrop of the fidayeen attack on an army camp at Sujwan, Jammu that left two soldiers and a militant dead while as several others including the daughter of the deceased soldier suffered injuries.
