TOP STORIES Fireman injured as fire damages 2 houses in Hawal | KNO Published 1 days ago on November 03, 2025 By KNO Correspondent Srinagar, Nov 03 (KNO): A fire broke out in Kathi Mohalla area of Hawal in Srinagar on Monday evening, damaging two residential houses and injuring a firefighter, officials said. An official told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that the fire erupted in a single residential building jointly owned by two brothers, causing extensive damage before it was brought under control by the Fire and Emergency Services (F&ES) personnel. He said during the operation, one fireman identified as Nasir Hossain sustained injuries while dousing the flames and was immediately shifted to hospital for treatment.
