Ganderbal, Dec 29 (KNO): Ahead of New Year celebrations, authorities in Ganderbal have intensified surveillance and traffic regulation along the Sonamarg–Gund stretch to ensure a safe and orderly festive period. According to the details available with the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Ganderbal Khalil Ahmed Poswal visited Sonamarg and adjoining areas on Monday. He inspected the security arrangements and issued on-spot directions. He was accompanied by SDPO Kangan Rajeev Raina, Station House Officers of Sonamarg and Gund, personnel from the Special Operations Group (SOG), besides Traffic and Tourist Police.
