Doda, Sept 11 (KNO): A mysterious low-intensity blast was heard on Thursday afternoon in Thukar Mohalla of Doda town. However, no injury was reported while two persons have been detained for questioning, officials said.
Sources told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that the explosion took place in the vicinity of a house at Thukar Mohalla in Doda town, triggering panic among locals. Soon after, blast security forces rushed to the spot to investigate the incident.
Sridhar Patil, DIG, said there was a report of an explosion-like sound at nearly 10:30 to 11:00 AM, which is under investigation. “FSL team has been deputed to the spot to collect samples. After ballistic examination, it can be confirmed what type of blast it was,” he said.
He said that in the incident two people were detained and are under inquiry, and action will be taken based on the investigation—(KNO)
