Bandipora, Aug 15 (KNO): The mother of renowned Islamic scholar and rector Darul Uloom Raheemiyyah, Bandipora, Moulana Rehmatullah Mir Qasmi, passed away on Friday at her residence here. One of the family members told news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) Misra Begum passed away today evening after a prolonged illness. He said the funeral prayer will be offered at 11:00 pm at Qadeem Jamia Masjid, Nibripora. Her death has been widely condoled with many religious and social organisations expressing sympathy with the bereaved family, especially Moulana Rehmatullah Qasmi. Meanwhile, KNO editorial team also expressed condolence and sympathy with Moulana Qasmi on the passing away of her mother. A condolence meet was also held where prayers were offered to the departed soul—(KNO)
