Police public meeting held at Police Stations 'K. Nagar' & 'Shaheed Gunj' | KNO

*Srinagar, March 27 (KNO) : A PCPG (Police Community Partnership Group) meeting was held at police station Karan Nagar. With an aim to strengthen relations with public & also to establish first hand contact with masses, Police Station Karan Nagar convened a public interaction meeting in which a number of respectable citizens of the area participated.

The meeting was chaired by SDPO Shaheed Gunj Shri Imran Malik and SHO Police Station Karan Nagar Shri Maseer Asgar. The participants highlighted various issues of public importance like eradicating drug menace, drug addiction, footpath vendors & some issues related to civil administration.

The participants appreciated the role of police in curbing the social crimes. Referring to the issues highlighted by the participants SHO Karan Nagar and DySP Imran Malik assured them that issues pertaining to police will be solved in shortest possible time & the rest will be taken up with the civil administration for their redressal on priority. He also sought the cooperation of participants so that the peaceful atmosphere is maintained in the area.
