A police public meeting was today held in Pahalgam area of Anantnag district.
The meeting was chaired by SSP Anantnag Shri Zubair Ahmad Khan and was attended by a number of respectable citizens of Pahalgam area including members of Auqaf committees, Masjid Immams, traders, transporters, hoteliers, Pony wallas and other civil societies members.
The participants highlighted various issues of public importance.
SSP Anantnag while speaking on the occasion thanked the participants for their overwhelming participation and said that such meetings helps in maintaining good police public relations. He said that Jammu and Kashmir police will provide its all possible help and assistance as and when required for betterment of the society.
Referring to the issues highlighted by the participants, SSP assured them that issues pertaining to Police will be solved in shortest possible time and the rest will be taken up with civil administration for immediate redressal.
Among others CO 116BN CRPF Shri Raj Kumar, SDPO Pahalgam Shri Muzaffer Hussain, SDM Pahalgam Shri Nissar Ahmad, SHO Pahalgam Shri Tariq Ahmad Khan, Pahalgam,Tehsildar Pahalgam Shri Ghulam Rasool and other officers and officials were present on the occasion.
