Calls for maintaining cleanliness at Tourist spots

JAMMU, FEBRUARY 16 (KNO) : Minister for Tourism Tassaduq Hussain Mufti today visited various tourist spots in Rajouri district and reviewed the facilities being provided to the tourists by the department. The Minister was accompanied by MLAs Choudhary Qamar Hussain and Ravindar Raina, Deputy Commissioner Shahid Iqbal Chowdhary, Director Tourism Jammu and other senior officers of the Department of Tourism.

The Minister visited various tourist spots in the district including Ganga Ghat, Lamberu, The Royal Cuisine Restaurant Rajal, Chingas Fort and other tourist destinations and took stock of the arrangements and the facilities being provided to the tourists. He called for maintaining cleanliness in the tourist resorts besides taking extra care to save the environment especially the water bodies. The Minister, later, held a public meeting at Dak Banglow where various delegations called on the the Minister and apprised him of their issues. The Minister assured the delegations that their genuine demands will be looked into for an early redressal.(KNO)
