Terming the recent incident, wherein a Kashmiri boy was tied by the army with the bonnet of their jeep to use him as a human shield, a clear cut example of barbarism and open terrorism during the sham elections, a spokesman of APHC said that army was utilizing its powers under black laws to brutalize Kashmiris.

Terming the recent incident, wherein a Kashmiri boy was tied by the army with the bonnet of their jeep to use him as a human shield, a clear cut example of barbarism and open terrorism during the sham elections, a spokesman of APHC said that army was utilizing its powers under black laws to brutalize Kashmiris.

 

The spokesman said that the incidents has exposed the undemocratic face of India before the world, adding, such atrocious tactics is being routinely employed in Kashmir to repress the voice of freedom.

 

The spokesman said the Indian authorities and their local collaborators were trying hard to obfuscate the truth by making misleading statements regarding the videos including a boy tied with the jeep and a young child shot from a point blank range.

 

The spokesman said the use of naked savage force; maiming, killing and torture of Kashmiris during the namesake elections has exposed India before the international community. It also proves the point that elections in Kashmir are nothing more than a military operation in Kashmir, he added.

 

The spokesman said the clear rejection of polls has also deflated the Indian claims at international level, adding, the world has come to know that the political reality on ground was far different from unrealistic claims of India on such forums.

 

 The spokesman said it becomes the moral duty of international community and human rights organizations to take strong notice of such gross rights violations and use their influence to make India realize the ground reality in Kashmir India and stop the gross violation here.

 

The spokesman has strongly condemned the use of force against the students in Pulwama College during which numerous students’ sustained injuries and two of them are in critical state. Terming the assault on students by the army and police as barbaric, he said that the display of such acts were inhuman and shocking.
