Two days Multi Specialty camp organized by army concludes in Bhaderwah | KNO

BHADERWAH, JUN 10 (KNO) : To provide quality medical care to the population of remote areas of Bhaderwah sub District , Indian Army 4 RR organised a two days 'super specialty Medical Camp' at Sub District Hospital Bhaderwah . The camp was inaugurated by Minister in PMO Dr Jatinder Singh along with Dy CM Kavinder Gupta , MOS Shakti Raj Parihar ,BJP state president Ravinder Raina , MLA Bhaderwah Daleep Singh Parihar and Adv Manjeet Razdan .

The event received an overwhelming response and approximately 2000 patients from Bhaderwah and adjoining areas of Chenab valley were benefited from the facilities provided.Besides providing free medical care and distribution of the medicines, the camp was also aimed at educating the people about hygiene and sanitation aspects, prevention of communicable and water borne diseases and vaccination of ladies and children. The operation was done at the hospital The camp was organised on the request of the local people as the area is remote and deprived of medical facilities, besides no medical camp was held in the town in the last 10 years. Specialists from army in the field of ENT, Medicine, Opthalmology, Gynaecology, Paediatrics and Surgery were present at the camp to providing their services to the people.

The event has been widely appreciated by the locals of Bhaderwah town where the requisite medical infrastructure is inadequate. Facilities like plastic surgery, dental and pathology were being provided along with free ECG, lab facilities and free medicines to the patients and also avail the super speciality treatment along with latest diagnostic facilities.
