Srinagar: All Parties Hurriyat Conference has strongly condemned the killing of Wardwan youth Javid Ahmad Dar who was recently injured by Indian forces. Hurriyat said that the daily killings, widespread arrests and brutalities by the Indian armed forces and police in Kareemabad Pulwama where more than 80 people got injured. Hurriyat said that on one hand Indian armed forces along with the local police at the behest of yes-men of Indian ferociousness have crossed all the limits of cruelty and mercilessness in curbing the just voice of the people of Jammu and Kashmir and on the other hand the followers of “Chankiya’s politics” the continue to beat the drum of “talks” just to mislead the innocent people. Hurriyat said by everyday’s bloodbath especially in their own constituencies a “little disturbance” shows their callous and indurate attitude, withering away their people friendly mask, they have been riding on since their inception into politics. Hurriyat has said that converting the whole vale into an army garrison and a big prison stands testimony to the fact that Indian rulers and their local collaborators have lost the moral, human and democratic presence here, and only cord they are here, is by their trammeled military might. This is the only reason they can’t tolerate the echo of Azadi reverberating in each and every street here. These occupying forces crush this voice by force, killings, ransacking, molestation and widespread arrests, thinking that their doing so will weaken our resilience. While condemning the arrests, slapping PSA on more than 175 people including kids and shifting them away from the valley, Hurriyat said that this is the gross violation of rules and regulations laid by their own supreme court, where in it has been clearly stated that arrested persons be kept in their own localities so that their families can meet them regularly. But as Jammu and Kashmir is a lawless state, these political prisoners are lodged outside valley just to penalize and inflict maximum physical as well as psychological trauma to them, as this satisfies the collective conscience of the crazy and sick national interest of the oppressor. Hurriyat further said that they are kept with criminals and other convicts thereby endangering their safety as well. Hurriyat has taken strong note of some youth compelling the shopkeepers for shutdown during the relaxation time. Hurriyat has clarified once again that this period is part of the programme and is meant to get the essential commodities as whole nation is willfully in the struggle and the relaxation time is just a respite in the hard and strict restrictions and whosoever violates the joint programme is not a well wisher of the movement. Referring to the damage of the electric transformers in South Kashmir, Hurriyat said that after blinding our youth, army and their local paid agents are subject the whole population to the darkness by severing their electricity. By doing so they want the locals to approach the local collaborators and in return of these transformers and restoration of the electricity they will try to dent this ongoing resilience.
