Yasin Malik released from Srinagar central jail | KNO

Ailing chairman of Jammu Kashmir liberation front( JKLF) Muhammad Yasin Malik has been released from central jail Srinagar after principal sessions judge Srinagar ordered to set him free yesterday. JKLF chairman was arrested on 21st July 2017 from Dalgate and along with JKLF vice chairman Mushtaq Ajmal and Ghulam Muhammad Dar was shifted to Srinagar central jail. Tehsildar Srinagar south remanded them for 5 days firstly and extended that remand till 5th of august 2017.

JKLF through its lawyers challenged the illegal orders of Tehsildar in the court of principal session judge who yesterday set aside the orders of the Tehsildar and in his order said that his orders were not in accordance with the law and are liable to be set aside and that Yasin Malik and others lodged at central jail Srinagar should be released immediately. JKLF chairman and others have been released after this judgment. It is worth to mention that JKLF chairman was arrested on 21st July while his health was not satisfactory.  JKLF chairman was examined by senior heart surgeon Doctor Anil Bhan Jee at modern hospital on 22nd July 2017 and prior to that by senior cardiologist Doctor Khursheed iqbal at Florence hospital. During the examination it was diagnosed that Yasin Sahibs artificial heart Valve is not functioning properly and has in fact developed some faults. His gradient pressure Valve which is normally 25-40 mmhg has risen considerably and is touching 34 mmhg levels.

Both Doctors have advised him to go for further examinations to ascertain and diagnose the exact position of the heart Valve.
