Police detain stunt biker within 24 hrs | KNO

Baramulla, Nov 05 (KNO): In a swift and stern action against traffic violators, Police in Baramulla on Wednesday said to have detained an individual involved in a recent stunt biking incident that had surfaced on social media. The individual, identified as Shahid Assad Dar resident of Puthar Kreeri, was seen performing dangerous stunts on a motorcycle in a video that appeared on social media yesterday. He has been booked under Sections 184 and 207 of the Motor Vehicles Act, and the motorcycle used in the offence has been seized, a police spokesman said in a statement issued to the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO). The action was taken by Police Station Gulmarg under the supervision of SDPO Tangmarg and SHO PS Gulmarg, as part of J&K Police’s ongoing drive to ensure road safety and strict enforcement of traffic laws—(KNO)
