39 SDRF personnel granted promotion to higher pay scale | KNO

Srinagar, Sept 19 (KNO): A Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC), chaired by DIG SDRF/Civil Defence Kashmir Imtiyaz Hussain Mir, on Friday cleared the cases of 39 Selection Grade Constables of SDRF Kashmir for promotion to the 2nd Higher Standard Pay Scale, officials said. An official told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that the DPC meeting was held at the Zonal SDRF/Civil Defence Headquarters, Kashmir, where the service records and eligibility of the personnel were thoroughly scrutinised. He said that following a detailed examination, all 39 personnel were found eligible and cleared for promotion to the 2nd Higher Standard Pay Scale. “Promotion orders in respect of all 39 personnel were issued on the spot, with the promotions taking effect immediately,” the official said. He added that the move is aimed at ensuring due career progression and extending service-related benefits to eligible personnel of SDRF Kashmir.—(KNO)
