Udhampur, Sep 23 (KNO): Chief of Air Staff Air Chief Marshal AP Singh on Wednesday visited the Northern Command theatre and reviewed the operational preparedness of the forces.
He was briefed by Northern Command chief Lieutenant General Pratik Sharma on key operational developments and inter-service coordination.
In a statement issued to the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), a spokesperson said Air Chief Marshal AP Singh, PVSM, AVSM, visited the strategically vital Northern Command theatre to review the prevailing operational environment and preparedness.
During the visit, the Chief of Air Staff was briefed by Lieutenant General Pratik Sharma, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Northern Command, at Headquarters Northern Command on key operational dynamics and ongoing inter-service synergy initiatives for the effective execution of multi-domain operations.
The spokesperson said that, expressing full confidence in the operational capabilities of the forces, the Chief of Air Staff highlighted the exemplary synergy and jointness between the Western Air Command and Northern Command at all levels, from strategic to tactical, as a model for future operations.
He said the Air Chief Marshal also complimented all ranks for their unwavering commitment to safeguarding national interests.—(KNO)
