Srinagar, Dec 09 (KNO): The National Investigation Agency on Tuesday conducted searches in the forests of south Kashmir's Anantnag district in connection with the Delhi blast case, sources said, adding that two key accused, including Dr Adeel and Jasir Bilal are accompanying the searched teams. Sources told news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), that the NIA team was accompanied by Jammu and Kashmir police and the Army. The NIA team has been led to the forest area by Dr Adeel and Jasir Bilal. They said that some suspected items have been recovered from the forest area on the revelations of the two key accused in the Delhi blast case. Investigators believe Dr Adeel was the close associate of Dr Umar, who triggered the high intensity blast that ripped through the car near Delhi iconic Red Fort area on November 10. At least a dozen people died in the blast and several others were injured. Jasir Bilal, per investigators, is the drone expert and was arrested following the Delhi blast in November this year. Both Adeel and Jasir are part of the white-collar terror module that was busted by Jammu and Kashmir police. Seven people, part of the module, have so far been arrested who are linked to the Delhi blast case—(KNO)
