Police family will stand behind the martyrs' families :DGP

Director General of Jammu and Kashmir Police Dr. S.P Vaid visited the a martyrs homes in Srinagar and Kulgam  Today.    

The DGP who was accompanied by Inspector general of Police  visited the family of martyr Ishfaq Ahmad Hajam son of Abdul Ahad Hajam  resident Zakoora, Srinagar in the morning and families of  ASI Bashir Ahmad Dar son of Abdul Gani Dar resident of Bonigam, Qazigund, SGct. Farooq Ahmad Bhat son of Abdul Aziz Bhat resident of Nehama, D.H Pora and Ct. Muzffer Ahmad son of Gul Mohammad Bhat resident of Y.K Pora, Kulgam in the afternoon.

SSP Srinagar, Shri. Imtiaz Ismail Parray and other senior police officers of the city accompanied  DGP on his visit to the home of Zakoora martyr and Deputy Inspector General of Police Shri. S.P Pani, SSP Kulgam, and other officers of Kulgam accompanied the DGP on his visit to the three Kulgam martyrs.

Ishfaq Ahmad Hajam son of Abdul Ahad Hajam  resident Zakoora, Srinagar , ASI Bashir Ahmad Dar son of Abdul Gani Dar resident of Bonigam, Qazigund, SGct. Farooq Ahmad Bhat son of Abdul Aziz Bhat resident of Nehama, D.H Pora, Ct. Muzffer Ahmad son of Gul Mohammad Bhat resident of Y.K Pora and Sgct Mohammad Qasim son of Abdul Bohu Khan resident of Awoora, Trehgam, Kupwara alongwith two bank guards Javaid Ahmad Bhat resident of Vessu, Batpora Kulgam, and  Muzaffer Ahmad Laway resident of Larnoo, D.H Pora, Kulgam gave their supreme sacrifice while performing their duties in Kulgam yesterday.

Emotional scenes  were witnessed during the DGP’s visit to the martyrs families and the mood of the people was somber. Huge number of people had gathered at the residences of these martyrs. The DGP consoled them and expressed his solidarity with the bereaved families and prayed for the eternal peace of departed souls.

While interacting with the families of these martyrs he said that whole Police department is at the back of bereaved families and shares their grief and sorrow. He  assured that every support would be provided to the facilities  of the martyrs.

As a mark of respect for the martyr the Batpora area of Zakoora observed shutdown. The shops and other business established remained closed.

Quran Khawani, Duaieya Majlis held for Kulgam martyrs in DPL, Srinagar

Srinagar, April 02:  A Duaieya Majlis and Quran Khawani was held this afternoon in Jamia Masjid Police lines Srinagar for five police personnel and two JK security personnel who attained martyrdom in Kulgam yesterday.

These special prayers were held to pay homage to these martyrs and to show solidarity with the bereaved families. Deputy inspector General of Police Shri G.H Bhat, SSP Srinagar Imtiaz Ismail Parray and other senior officers and official of city took part in these prayers.
