While extending his condolences and sympathies with the bereaved family, Altaf Ahmad said that it is disheartening that we lose our precious lives and state rulers are enjoying power corridores and maintaining criminal silence over this bloodshed. He said that slain youth was working in his paddy fields and there was no reason to target youth and snatch his precious life. Altaf Ahmad expressed his anguish and lamented authorities for unleashing a reign of terror in nook and corner of state. Referring to use of brute force against peaceful protestors in Hajin, Sopore, Islamabad, Kupwara and in interior city, Altaf Ahmad said that people were barred from offering the congregational prayers and this amounts to interference in religious matters. He strongly condemned the declaration of freedom activists as proclaimed offender and said PDP led puppet regime has surpassed all limits. He paid his heartfelt tributes to martyrs and pledged to carry their mission to its logical end, he prayed for speedy recovery for those injured in recent people’s uprising. Meanwhile leaders of Hurriyat Conference and salvation Movement during their address to pro-freedom public gathering at Goose Newa said that we are duty bound to follow program of Hurriyat conference and resistance camp in letter and spirit .
