Srinagar, Oct 30 (KNO): The Office of Grand Mufti Jammu and Kashmir has said its official X handle has been compromised, urging people not to engage with, share or rely on any content posted from the account until it is recovered.
The office further said it would report the matter to Cyber Crime authorities.
In a communique issued by the office, a copy of which was accessed by the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), the Office of Grand Mufti Jammu and Kashmir urged the public to note that any post or activity from @office_Mufti should not be considered authorised or associated with the office until the official handle is recovered.
“We will formally report the matter to Cyber Crime tomorrow and pursue the necessary action. We request everyone to refrain from engaging with, sharing, or relying on any content posted from the compromised handle until further notice,” the communique reads.—(KNO)
