JKPA gets IPA affiliation, gains national recognition | KNO

Srinagar, May 02 (KNO): J&K Pickleball Association (JKPA) is officially affiliated with the Indian Pickleball Association (IPA), which has been recognized by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India, as the National Sports Federation (NSF) for pickleball. This affiliation brings national legitimacy to JKPA, unlocking structured development, funding, and pathways for representation at national and international levels, a statement issued to the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) reads. Led by President-Farid Singh, Secretary-Viraj Singh, and Director (Jammu)-Ajay Vaid, JKPA is the governing body for pickleball in Jammu & Kashmir. It focuses on grassroots development, inclusive access, and a robust competitive calendar. The association remains committed to making J&K a leading pickleball destination for all age groups and skill levels—(KNO)
