An official told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that the motorcycle was hit by an unknown vehicle, resulting in grievous injures to him. He said that he brought to SMHS hospital Srinagar, where he succumbed to his injuries. The official identified the deceased as Muzaffar Rashid Lone (25) son of Abdul Rashid Lone.
