ACD Ganderbal visits Block Kangan | KNO

Ganderbal, Feb 20 (KNO): Assistant Commissioner Development (ACD) Ganderbal, Dr. Bashir Ahmad Bhat on Thursday visited Kangan Block of District Ganderbal. He chaired a review meeting of Officers/officials of the Block and impressed upon them to work in full coordination for attaining better results. Besides, the progress of works being implemented under various developmental schemes of the Department in general and under District/UT Capex Budget 2024-25, MGNREGA & PMAY-G in particular, was reviewed in the meeting. As per the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), the ACD stressed upon the officers/officials of the Block to work with zeal and zest so as to excel during these crucial days of fag end of the financial year 2024-25. The Officer particularly directed for completion of all under-construction houses of PMAY-G 1.0 & ongoing Survey of PMAY-G 2.0 by or before 15-03-2025 positively. He emphasized on working in a mission mode to meet the desired targets and work meticulously right from the step of planning upto the level of execution of all developmental projects. Among others, the meeting was attended by the Block Development Officer Kangan, Assistant Engineer REW Kangan, JEs, Panchayat Secretaries, PAAs & other officials of the Block. Later, the officer took on-the-spot stock of various ongoing & completed developmental works under District/UT Capex Budget 2024-25. He stressed upon the officials of the Block to speed-up the execution of all these works while taking full advantage of the fair weather so that desirable targets are achieved within stipulated time without compromising over the quality of the works. The Officer impressed upon the Panchayat level officials to remain abreast & updated with their Panchayat profile & explore avenues to generate Own Source Revenue (OSR) through long-term planning so that the goal of self-sufficiency & sustainable development of Rural areas is achieved—(KNO)
