Admission for PG, UG courses under CUET, Non-CUET still open: SP College Authorities | KNO

Srinagar, Sep 06 (KNO): Authorities at Sri Pratap College Srinagar Wednesday said that the admissions for various Postgraduate and Undergraduate course under CUET and Non-CUET quota were still open for the students. The Officials said that students can also opt for ‘On Spot’ admissions. According to the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), Principal of the College, Prof (Dr.) Ghulam Jeelani Qureshi said this during an interactive session with the media persons in the college auditorium. The session was held with regard to recent NAAC Accreditation and ongoing admission process for various UG and PG courses as per National Education Policy-2020 for the academic session 2023-24. Qureshi expressed gratitude to the media fraternity for their presence and explained at length the purpose behind holding the presser. He briefed the media about the rich historical past of the College and it's role in building a legacy throughout the globe. Qureshi spoke to the media about the immense contribution of Shri Alok Kumar (IRS), Principal Secretary, Higher Education Department of the UT of J&K in building a transparent system to streamline the Department. He expressed his desire to publicize the student centric facilities available at the college so that more and more meritorious students desirous of seeking admission in the college are attracted towards it. The Coordinator IQAC, Dr. Sadiq Majeed apprised the media personnel about the performance of the College during the recent NAAC re-accreditation process (Cycle-3) in which the college secured grade A+. He explained to the media that the college has been progressively growing over the last three NAAC accreditation cycles. Convener admissions, Dr Gowhar Hamid Dar explained the process of ongoing admissions and also gave a brief outline of the various rounds of admissions with special emphasis on the on spot round of admission.
