Srinagar, Aug 09 (KNO): Bollywood actor from Kashmir, Mir Sarwar on Friday said that films by local filmmakers will be shown regularly, with screenings scheduled for the second Friday of every month in Srinagar and the fourth Friday in Jammu.

This initiative, according to details available with the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), is designed to provide a platform for independent filmmakers from the region to showcase their work, with the aim of bringing the stories of Kashmir to a wider audience.
Mir Sarwar highlighted the importance of this new platform for local artists, saying, “This initiative is a much-needed boost for independent filmmakers who often struggle to find audiences for their work.
