Sopore, Mar 02 (KNO): Locals at Dangiwacha, Rafiabad in Sopore accused the administration of failing to provide them better healthcare facilities at community health centres.
Talking to the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), locals accused the administration of not being serious about the health sector, saying the claims of improving the health sector are proving a hoax.
"Instead of distributing the free medicines among the poor, authorities are throwing medicines in water bodies after letting it expire,” they said.
Dangiwacha being the block headquarters is being ignored in healthcare, said Basharat Ahmed, a civil society head.
Locals said that they brought the matter into the notice of authorities many times, even the CMO visited the hospital to no avail.
