Kargil, Feb 01 (KNO): Executive Councilor (Rural Development and Panchayati Raj/Cooperative/FCS&CA/Forest & Wild Life/Information) LAHDC, Kargil, Er Punchok Tashi on Friday attended the 6th Day of the 15th CEC Ice Hockey Championship at Ice Hockey Rink Bemathang in Kargil.
The EC inaugurated the Women's Tournament, featuring the first match between Humas Queen Drass and Ice Hockey Club Bodhkarboo. The Ice Hockey Club Bodhkarboo won the game with a margin of 3-0 goals.
Tashi also attended the match between Ice Hockey Club Zanskar and Chams Drass, which was won by the Zanskar team with a margin of 2-0 goals.
Significantly, this marks the inaugural participation of the Zanskar team in the tournament.
Tashi interacted with the players, offering them words of encouragement and urging them to persist in their sporting endeavors to bring laurels to the district—(KNO)
