Srinagar, 22 May (KNO): The Oscar winning movie RRR co-star, Ram Charan on Monday arrived in Srinagar to take part in a side event of the third G20 Tourism Working Group Meeting in the Kashmir Valley. An official told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that several foreign delegates are likely to discuss film tourism during the G20 side event in Srinagar today. He said that the RRR fame Telugu star Ram Charan will also attend the event on “Film Tourism for Economic Growth and Cultural Preservation", a side event of the G20 meeting. Notably, Ram Charan co-starred in RRR which won Oscar in the Best Original Song category earlier this year for “Naatu Naatu”. Srinagar is hosting the third G20 Tourism Working Group meeting with around 60 foreign delegates taking part in the event for 3 days starting today till May 24z Pertinent to mention here that following the unveiling of film policy in 2021, Jammu and Kashmir administration is making attempts to reestablish the Union Territory as a prominent destination for film tourism. Officials have stated that around 200 films, web series, and serials were shot in Jammu and Kashmir last year—(KNO)
