Srinagar, Feb 28 (KNO): Two students and a teacher from Government Degree College Kulgam have developed an app titled "Sukoon-e-Kashmi" to give people a new choice to match their fast pace of life.
The group includes two BCA students of GDC Kulgam namely Suhail Ashraf and Danish Mushtaq and assistant professor Irshad Ahmad Lone who worked for around three months to make this app a reality.
Professor Irshad while talking with a news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) said that the app is actually a pure jam-packed application that gives all the features to a user from entertainment to a cross messaging platform and this will be very beneficial for all age groups and will be a revolutionary move for both the business and influencer community.
He added that "developing an app depends on various things like a prior background of coding, android studio and a good command over various fields of computer science such as UI/UX designing, programming like java / kotlin and database handling and being from the same (computer science) field we had a privilege to transform the knowledge into a reality based project".
"This is the first app of its type from the valley and anyone after registration through SMS and OTP can easily share and update his videos up to 10 mins length," he said, adding that "it works like TikTok and we have kept here four sections including Kashmiri, Islamic, education and entertainment in which teachers, as well as student, can upload videos for educational purposes".
Danish and Suhail said that they worked along with Irshad who has played a very significant role in developing this app for around three months continuously to make this app a reality which is also available on the play store.
They said that the aim behind developing this app is simply to connect people with the masses through entertainment and creativity. "All credit goes to our principal who is working untouched hard for the upliftment and improvement of our institution," they said.
It will provide people with new choices to match the fast pace of life and we want the youth of Kashmir to socialize the beauty of our Kashmir, they added—(KNO)
