Tral, Feb 20 (KNO): Amid the season's first heavy snowfall in Kashmir, the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel in South Kashmir's Tral area of South Kashmir's Pulwama district turned Baratis by helping a groom to reach his in-laws. As per the details available with the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), marriage of Mukhtar Ahmad, son of Ghulam Hassan Poswal of Baran Pathri, around 12 kilometers away from Tral town, was scheduled today, however, heavy snowfall played a spoilsport, leaving the family high and dry. Mukhtar told KNO that as the snow had accumulated on the roads, making it impossible for the groom to reach his in-laws using traditional horse riding, his family had to seek help from 180 CRPF Battalion in Mandoora Tral. Later, the CRPF personnel along with an armoured vehicle rushed to the spot and helped him to reach Gutroo Tral to attend the ceremonial function. He along with his family and relatives thanked CRPF Officer Ram Jath along with his team for helping them to reach Gutroo Tral. Meanwhile, the officials of CRPF said that they are always available for the help of people—(KNO)
