Jio mobile tower defunct in Budgam’s Wager village, subscribers suffer

Budgam, Dec 27 (KNO): People of Wager village in Budgam have complained cellular network services in their area is affected as the Jio communication tower is defunct for the last three months. Speaking to news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), villagers said that the Jio Tower installed in their area catering to 700 users is not working. Residents said that despite reaching out to the cellular company with their grievance, the issue has not been resolved so far. They said that the power development department has disconnected electricity supply to the tower due to unpaid bills. It has hit students who are not able to attend online classes or exams. An executive from the Jio said they are working to get the electricity restored to the tower—(KNO)
