Pulwama, Nov 24 (KNO): A youth from south Kashmir's Pulwama district who started his business unit just two years before is presently providing jobs to around two dozen people.
Musaib Nisar, a resident of Samboora village in Pampore hamlet of Pulwama district after completing masters in Geo-science started his modular furniture business at SIDCO Lassipora in the year 2019.
Musaib while talking with the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) said that after completing masters degree he decided to start a business with the help of family and friends and finally decided to start modular furniture business at industrial estate Lassipora Pulwama.
He said that within two years, products manufactured at his unit namely Himalayan Peaks Industries have reached every corner of J&K.
Musaib said that as life is very fast and people prefer ready-made things, he makes ready-made kitchens in just two to three days which otherwise takes months for customers.
He said that some people are using social media in a negative way but social media is the biggest platform where one can grow their business provided people remain honest in all circumstances.
He said that at present around two dozen employees including some non locals are working at his unit and in the coming days, he is going to expand his business and more people will get jobs.
He said that youth in J&K are very much talented but they need to learn how to become a job provider rather than a job seeker and with the help of different government schemes they should start their own units so as to work for their own welfare besides for the welfare of society—(KNO)
